Altium Limited, a global leader in electronic design automation, has partnered with BQR, a top software provider of Reliability, Maintenance engineering for the EDA market, for integrating fiXtress, an advanced Design for Reliability (DfR) solution, with its products. With the added value provided by fiXtress suite, electronic engineers will be able to design reliable and robust PCBs, shortening time-to-market, improving the design process and reducing field failures.
fiXtress is the only tool in today’s market that integrates design error detection with stress, thermal and service life prediction on the schematic-level, before PCB layout.
The new capabilities are integrated with Altium products, supporting data flow from Altium to fiXtress, performing stress and reliability analysis, and enabling back annotations of the results to the schematic view.
